Four Dimensions of Self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional
"Sharpen the Saw" means to continue to improve. The four dimensions of self-renewal are physical, mental, spiritual and social/emotional health. Physical means not only to stay active but to also eat healthy. Mental health is a level of psychological well-being, or absence of mental illness. Having compassion, the capacity for love and forgiveness, and fulfillment help you enjoy your spiritual health. Social/Emotional health is the ability to form satisfying interpersonal relationships with others. Improving each of those categories just makes you live a happier life. For instance, fixing the relationships you have with others. Just knowing that there are people who will always have your back will make you feel better. Or having your mind at peace makes you just feel great, and proactive. Being healthy and in shape makes you proud of your body and it also makes you feel better. For instance, eating chips everyday isn't good for your body, and for most of us it makes our stomach hurt. Spiritual health is important because loving and forgiving just makes you a better person, holding a grudge just makes you feel awful.
